What the industry needs
- Online booking and reminders
- Online booking lets patients choose a suitable time based on doctor, room and equipment calendars without depending on office hours, and reduces the phone load on reception. Reminder messages and easy cancelling and rescheduling reduce no-shows and make it easier to give a freed slot to another patient.
- Protecting health data
- Health data is classed as a special category of personal data under both KVKK and GDPR and must be protected more strictly. That is why access limited to authorised people, encrypted connections, two-step verification, access logs and regular backups are essential. Forms should ask only for information that is truly needed.
- Local visibility and trust
- When choosing a clinic, patients look at its location on the map, its reviews and the doctors' areas of expertise. An up-to-date Business Profile, doctor profile pages and respectful replies to reviews build trust. Patient information or treatment details must never be shared when replying to reviews.
- Rules for healthcare advertising
- Promoting healthcare services is subject to special rules in many countries; in Turkey too, there are restrictions on advertising by healthcare professionals and institutions. Google and Meta also apply additional policies to health-related ads. Before preparing a campaign, check professional and local rules and keep the content informative.
- Patient communication and follow-up
- Follow-up reminders after treatment, informational messages and a short satisfaction survey strengthen the patient experience. Pay attention to whether these messages are informational or promotional: messages with promotional content require the patient's separate consent.

Frequently asked questions
Will an online booking system work with our existing calendar?
Doctor, room and equipment calendars can be defined together. If you already have patient management software, integration is assessed based on the connections that software offers. To avoid double bookings during the transition, appointments should be managed from a single source.
What should we ask a provider about patient data?
Whichever provider you work with, ask in writing which country the data is stored in, who can access it, whether access is logged and how long it is kept. For health data, a data processing agreement and regular backups are essential.
How are your ready-made products offered?
Our ready-made products run on Doki's infrastructure, we do the setup and they are offered with a one-off licence or a monthly rent. They are set up and handed over the next day if the software is ready, or within a week if not. For special needs the product does not cover, the scope is clarified together and custom development is quoted separately.
Let's talk about your project.
Tell us what you need; we will define the scope together.
