Questions and straight answers
The twelve questions we hear most, answered without decoration. If yours is missing, write to us and we will answer just as plainly.
Getting started
What people ask before the first meeting.
Where do we start?
With a short conversation about what you want to build, who you serve and how you will measure success. Then we write the scope and prepare the quote; nothing is charged up to that point.
How long does a project take?
Duration depends on scope and is written as a schedule in the quote. Instead of one lump estimate we break the work into tasks and show progress in the portal; if something slips, the reason and the new date appear in the same place.
Do you work remotely?
Both. We meet in person in Istanbul; across Türkiye and abroad the work runs remotely, with every record kept in the portal. Meetings are held in Turkish; correspondence and deliverables are handled in the language of your choice with translation support.
Price and payment
How the price is set and what it does not include.
How do you set the price?
By the number of screens and flows, the integrations, the content and language load and the security expectations. We do not publish a fixed list because two jobs with the same title can be entirely different.
How is payment handled?
For work agreed in person, the full fee is paid at the start; for remote work, half is paid at the start and half on delivery. Invoices and payment records are visible in the portal; we do not store card details.
Is the ad budget included?
No. You pay the media cost straight to Google or Meta and see the spend in your own account. Our invoice is only the fixed monthly management fee, which includes the ad visuals and copy.
Ownership and security
Who owns what, and where the data sits.
Who owns the domain and the code?
The domain and server are set up in your name. For work built for you, the source code is not handed over and the rights stay with Doki; if you want them, the rights can be transferred to you for an extra fee. Third-party licences used are listed separately.
Where is our data kept?
The hosting provider, server region and backup arrangement are stated plainly in the contract. If data moves abroad we say so, and the same information is in the privacy notice.
Do you run security tests?
Yes, but only on targets you authorise in writing and within an agreed window. Scope, method and reporting permission are written up front; nothing is scanned without authorisation and we never claim to have made you "completely secure".
After launch
What happens once the work is done.
What does maintenance cover?
Bug fixes are free for the first month after delivery; after that you choose a monthly or yearly maintenance package. Maintenance covers updates, backup checks, bug fixes and small content changes. New modules or a redesign are not part of maintenance; they are planned with a separate quote.
Can I ask for changes later?
Of course. Every request opens as a scope change, its effect on time and cost is written down, and it is scheduled after your approval. Nothing you have not approved gets started.
Can I move the work to another team?
Yes. The domain and server are already in your name; account access and technical notes are handed over as a list. The source code and rights can be transferred for an extra fee if you want them.
