E-invoice and e-archive invoice
Issuing invoices electronically instead of on paper in Turkey, in the format set by the Revenue Administration; e-invoices are used between users registered in the system, and e-archive invoices for other recipients.

Why it matters
Businesses selling online must switch to e-invoice and e-archive systems under certain conditions. Integrating the e-commerce platform with the invoicing system issues an invoice automatically for every order and e-mails it to the customer, removing the errors and delays of manual invoicing.

Example
When an order is completed on a shop, an e-archive invoice is issued automatically and sent to the customer; if the buyer is a company registered in the system, an e-invoice is issued for the same order.

Common mistake
Not reflecting returns and cancellations in the invoicing system. Every change to an order needs a matching invoice record; otherwise the accounts do not reconcile.
