This forum was created so that people in digital business can share real experiences with each other. There are a few rules, all short.

Share your experience, not your ads. It's fine to give examples from your own business; if the whole thread is promotion, we'll remove it.

If you give numbers, also explain how you measured them. "It tripled" on its own isn't information.

Don't promise anyone guarantees. Not for rankings, sales, or security. Anyone who sees a guarantee claim here can question it, and they're right to do so.

Content describing unauthorized testing on someone else's system will not be shared.

As the Doki team, we're here too, but this isn't our sales channel. You can ask us questions, we'll answer; if we can't answer, we'll say so clearly.

The third rule is what will set this forum apart from others. Hope it gets followed.

Because I've seen the most damage done by making decisions based on numbers with unclear sources.

Thanks specifically for the guarantee clause. Misinformation is most common in our industry on this topic.

I'll keep including measurement methods in my posts too, to set an example.

It's rare to find an explanation this clear.

There's a common mistake people make when doing this. Cutting your own salary is a temporary tactic; if it lasts more than six months, something will break.

I'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

Let me clarify the technical side. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

I think differently. The longer you delay cutting the team, the more people it affects.

Mistakes made on the rule side are usually reversible but expensive. That's all, sorry if I went on too long.

I went through the same thing two years ago. Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.

Most time waste accumulates in tasks waiting for approval. Correct me if I'm wrong.

the answer abve hits the nail on the head. btw most time waste accumulates in tasks waiting for approval.

if I were you, I'd go this route.

The answer above hits the nail on the head. If you get three different answers on a topic, the question was asked wrong.

Mistakes made on the rule side are usually reversible but expensive. If I were you, I'd go this route.

I think it's hard to be that definitive about rule. Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.

The first thing to break as you grow is communication, not the numbers. Proven by experience.

I think it's hard to be that definitive about rule. anyway the real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.

If I were you, Id go this route.

My perspective changed after experiencing that. When we decide without measuring, we always end up in the same place.

I'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

I have a question, don't want to go off-topic though. Extending terms makes customers happy but turns you into a financing institution.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.

I agree and I'd like to emphasize that. The first thing to break as you grow is communication, not the numbers.

Good luck with that.

Do you think this works at any scale? Processes without records never improve, because you don't know what to fix.

People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there. Hope this helps.

Yes, that's exactly how it is with rule. When making a decision, first look at what data you have on hand.

Pausing growth to breathe is also a strategy, nobody says that. Proven by experience.

Timely topic. If it's your first time, start small; scaling comes later.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.
