We've been running a veterinary clinic in Kadıköy for 3 years. We are a team of 5, and our clinic provides round-the-clock 24/7 service for emergencies. About 10 days ago, we noticed on our Google Maps profile that our operating hours had changed to '09:00 - 18:00' and our primary category had drifted to general medicine.

We open the dashboard, correct the info to 'Veterinary Clinic' and 'Open 24/7', and save it. But within a few hours at most, the system rejects our edit or reverts straight back to the old incorrect hours.

We submitted a detailed ticket using the official support form 6 days ago. Aside from the standard automated confirmation email, no one has called or replied. Our phones stopped ringing at night, patients assume the clinic is closed. What can we do to break this loop when we can't get a response from support?

Short answer: Your Google Business Profile edits constantly reverting happens because the algorithm trusts signals about your business gathered from other sources on the web or from Maps users more than the edits made in your dashboard. Until official support responds, you need to align the structured data on your website, your business hours on external platforms, and third-party app permissions connected to your profile.

First, check whether any third-party software or legacy integration is linked to your profile management console. Appointment systems, social media management tools, or agency accounts might be syncing in the background and re-uploading stale data. Remove all unauthorized or suspicious external access from the linked accounts tab.

Second, check the address and opening hours listed on your website. When search engine bots spot different hours on your contact page or footer, they override your edits in the Maps dashboard. Update your hours strictly to open 24/7 by adding veterinary structured data markup to your website's source code.

As for the official support route, grab the case ID from your open ticket and start a thread on the official Help Community forum. If you provide photos of your 24/7 storefront sign and municipal operating license, the Product Experts there can escalate the case directly to local operations teams for a manual review.

Don't submit new forms one after another for the same ticket. Every new form pushes you back in the queue. Reply directly to the automated email from the initial form attaching your 24/7 sign on the door and your official license; this will reopen activity on the ticket.

It's quite common for nearby competitor clinics or bad actors to manipulate your business hours using the "suggest an edit" option. When the algorithm receives a high volume of similar user edits, it can temporarily override even the business owner's dashboard inputs.

Happened to our restaurant too. Turns out an old delivery integration was left active and every night the system pulled hours from there and messed up Maps. Disabling the connected services one by one fixed the issue completely.

Check these right away: 1) Match your hours to 24/7 across Facebook, Instagram, and your website, 2) Remove any former clinic staff from the manager list, 3) Disconnect any third-party booking or social media tools linked to your dashboard.

support is super slow right now ik people waiting at leat 10-14 days. only real way to speed it up is posting on the community forum with your case ID.

note: I wrote this based on my own experience, it might not apply to everyone.

Have you changed any other core info like your address, phone number, or storefront photo in the past month? The system sometimes locks core fields when it suspects verification issues.

We had a similar category mismatch issue last year and only heard back on day 12 of the support ticket. We posted on the community forum while waiting for a response, and once a product expert escalated the ticket, it was manually unlocked within 48 hours.

Whatever you do, don't try opening a new profile or deleting and re-adding the location just because you're stuck. It'll get flagged as a duplicate at the same address, and you'll end up losing your existing reviews and getting suspended completely.

This thread is archived. Any unwritten clause becomes a point of disagreement later, as both sides remember it differently.

If I were you, I'd go this route.

Thanks for writing this, that's the right way. If rankings stay the same but clicks drop, the issue isn't your page, but the search result appearance.

Everyone rushing into google business profile help gets stuck at the same point. Just leaving this note, it might be useful.

There's also a measurement aspect to this. Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later.

If you get three different answers on a topic, the question was asked wrong. Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

I agree, and I'd like to emphasize that. People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there.

Proven by experience.

I went through the same thing two years ago. Don't hesitate to ask; those who don't ask always pay more.

Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

If I understood correctly, you're saying: Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.

Timely topic. Most time waste accumulates in tasks waiting for approval.

Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

Let me share my experience. A page that answers one question works better than one touching on five topics.

If I were you, I'd go this route.
