generated 50 million in 5 years, didn't take investors. Kept control but didn't grow fast.

No investment = slow but solid. With investment = fast but risky. Which one? Depends on market conditions.

We got stuck at the same point for a while. Everything goes well for the first three months; problems arise in the fourth.

Proven by experience.

I was thinking the same thing. Mistakes made on the growing without investment side are usually reversible but expensive.

Just leaving this note, it might be useful.

Let me summarize what's been said so far. When the closure decision was made is as decisive as the decision itself.

here's how it went for us but like solutions that work at a small scale collapse when you grow; I learned this late.

that's all, sorry if I went on too long.

Let me summarize what's been said so far. Second-time founders don't make the same mistakes but find new ones.

If I were you, I'd go this route.

Let me speak from the other side; I'm on the supplier side. If the gap between accounts receivable and accounts payable turnover days is widening, revenue won't save you.

Most time waste accumulates in tasks waiting for approval. Good luck with that.

I was thinking the same thing. The moment you depend on a single client you no longer set the price.

I'd appreciate it if you shared the outcome. Everyone rushing into growing without investment gets stuck at the same point.

i'm writig this so you don't make the same mistake and if you get three different answers on a topic the question was asked wrong.

if you post the result here, it will help others too.

You're right. When the closure decision was made is as decisive as the decision itself.

People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there. If you have questions, write them; I'll answer as best I can.

We've heard this a lot but it never happened like that for us. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

Processes without records never improve, because you don't know what to fix. Proven by experience.

I have an objection here. Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.

I went through the same thing two years ago. Looking profitable on paper but having no cash in the bank is very common.

Cutting your own salary is a temporary tactic; if it lasts more than six months, something will break. Proven by experience.

Thanks for writing this, that's the right way. The first thing to break as you grow is communication, not the numbers.
