marketed the software product for 18 months. 15 clients, 3000 lira monthly. But it took too much time. I shut it down. Clients moved to alternative software.

Product failure = not bad marketing, but poor resource usage. Shutting down is a healthy decision.

Three different views emerged they all complement each other. Extending terms makes customers happy but turns you into a financing institution.

That's all sorry if I went on too long.

following but tbh start with a small trial; dont commit to everything at once.

when we decide without measuring we alwasy end up in the same place. i'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

Quick summary for newcomers: Solutions that work at a small scale collapse when you grow; I learned this late.

Of course it varies if your situation is different.

My perspective changed after experiencing that. The moment you depend on a single client, you no longer set the price.

I'd appreciate it if you shared the outcome.

let me clarify the technical side but delaying bad news is the habit that causes the most losses in this job.

don't hesitate to ask; those who don't ask always pay more but correct me if I'm wrong.

I disagree with you on this point. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

Proven by experience.

im curious too but if you get three different answers on a toic the question was asked wrong.

if the gap between accounts receivable and accounts payable turnover days is widening, revenue won't save you.

if youre going this route, sort this out first and mistakes made on the shutting down a product side are usually reversible but expensive.

taking notes for two weeks yields better resluts than a six-month estimate and hope this helps.

This is exactly what we experienced. Everyone rushing into shutting down a product gets stuck at the same point.

That's all sorry if I went on too long.

My questions are cleared up thanks. Mistakes made on the shutting down a product side are usually reversible but expensive.

Just leaving this note it might be useful.

How did you solve this? Any unwritten clause becomes a point of disagreement later as both sides remember it differently.
