I didn't say no to a cheap job, wasted months — how do I say no?

Cheap jobs create unhappy clients. Rule: minimum project price = (hourly rate × minimum hours) + profit. 1000 lira isn't worth less than 50 hours of work.

I partly agree, partly disagree. Second-time founders don't make the same mistakes but find new ones.

Hope this helps.

I feel the same way... If you get three different answers on a topic, the question was asked wrong.

If you post the result here it will help others too.

We got stuck at the same point for a while. People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there.

Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way. Proven by experience.

There's also a measurement aspect to this. The moment you depend on a single client, you no longer set the price.

I can't fully agree with this. Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's right.

That's all sorry if I went on too long.

Let me share what happened to me; it might be useful. When you try to change everything at once, nothing settles.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.

You're right. Don't hesitate to ask; those who don't ask always pay more.

Absolutely. If I were to add anything: Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

If I were you I'd go this route.

I'm a small business, let me explain from my side. Mistaking revenue for cash is the most expensive illusion; trust the bank account.

That's all, sorry if I went on too long.

Quick summary for newcomers: Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

Good luck with that.

Looking at it as a process, the picture changes. Looking profitable on paper but having no cash in the bank is very common.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.

I'm in the same situation that's why I'm asking. honestly mistaking revenue for cash is the most expensive illusion; trust the bank account.

Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

Let me summarize what's been said so far. The biggest time-waster for us was not knowing who had the final say.

When we decide without measuring, we always end up in the same place. Hope this helps.
