search console is showing 100+ errors under the 'error' label, do i have to fix them all or can i ignore some?

split search console errors into 3 categories: 1) critical (404s, 5xx, redirect loops) — fix immediately. 2) medium (mobile usability amp errors) — fix within 1-2 weeks. 3) benign (url parameters duplication) — you can ignore these.

for pages that existed on the old site but are gone now: 301 redirect from the old url to the new one otherwise leave it as a 404 but mark it as 'excluded' in google console.

we had 200+ errors in november too. i reviewed them all, most were 'url parameter' or 'submitted url not found' — benign errors. i fixed the critical ones: broken redirects and 5xx errors. also resubmitted the sitemap. like 4 weeks later errors dropped and rankings went up.

bottom line: dont stress about fixing everything but fix the critical ones quickly if you overlook them.

if there are 100 errors its nothing tbh most are benign errors and dont need fixing. anyway read the error page info it marks the necessary ones in red. some yellow ones might have been overlooked.

search console scans constantly errrors resolve over time. if you close the critical ones this week you'll feel better. then look at the rest.
