I'm choosing an accounting software, there are free ones but which is better long-term

i use the paid version bro, costs 300 lira/month but it's great. records are kept properly, backups are automatic, everyone sees everything, fewer errors. i was losing my mind in excel. paid is a bit pricey but the money is well spent

Selection: you need to ask yourself about the size of your business: 1- How many invoices per month? 2- How many staff work in accounting? 3- What does your tax advisor recommend? 4- What's the budget? Choose accordingly. Most businesses paying 300-500 lira/month have zero problems

Free programs: high risk of data loss. One day the hard drive crashes, money is gone. Paid programs have backup and recovery. I'd say paid ends up being cheaper in the long run

If you pick a free accounting program, you'll lose data in 6 months and switch to paid anyway. Just get paid from the start save yourself the hassle. honestly life is too short for accounting mishaps.
