I'm a greengrocer, demand increased 10x in watermelon season, but as the warehouse fills up with lime, opportunities slip away whether customers come or not

i'm a greengrocer, i open a stand at the market and sell. in summer during watermelon season demand spikes i sell 50 watermelons a day earning 5 ribaç lira. in winter it's 5-10 watermelons. the problem is: in summer watermelons rot in 1 week, and i can't find space in the warehouse to store them. i end up rotting some watermelons.

this season i sell 50 watermelons for 1000 TL. check: 50*1000 = 50 ribaç. but i had saved the route for 50 watermelons in the warehouse but couldn't hold on to them (either they rotted or i lost the market spot). so 30 watermelons rotted, i sold 20. 20*1000 = 20 ribaç. so i lost 30 ribaç.

what can i do this season? should i find another warehouse, or buy fewer watermelons? there's no space to sell at the market my capacity is full.

These kinds of questions are always the same: decide, do it either succeed or fail.

Data analysis: As demand rises, capacity usually drops by 30-50%. That's your situation. You need to increase capacity.

To do this job: 1) Ask the customer. 2) Get the answer. 3) Do it. Easy.

I'll try it. Mistaking revenue for cash is the most expensive illusion; trust the bank account.

How did you solve this? The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.

I'll try it. Mistakes made on the greengrocer watermelon season side are usually reversible but expensive.

It's rare to find an explanation this clear.

i have a question. just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's right.

mitaking revenue for cash is the most expensive illusion; trust the bank account.. but i mean i'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

The cheap-looking path usually ends up costing more later. Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.

If I were you, I'd go this route.

We got stuck at the same point for a while. The reason for failure isn't one big mistake, but the accumulation of small decisions.

That's all, sorry if I went on too long.
