First branch is stable, 50k lira profit per month. I want to open a second branch, but what about staff, materials, management structure? Will unit profitability stay the same?
First branch is profitable, if I open a second branch will business grow, or will I be financially insufficient?

Second branch opening strategy: 1) Is the first branch running at 80% capacity? (if you found the constraint, it's time to open). 2) Have you standardized management systems? (if one person manages, they can't manage a second branch). 3) Is there a financial buffer? (first 3-6 months might be loss-making).
Unit profitability: Ideal = stays same or 80-90% of it. But initial extra costs (rent, personnel training, equip) = net profit will drop. Then (6-12 months) it normalizes.
Advice: Before opening, write the operational manual for the first branch. Give this to the second branch manager, so the same system works.

when we opened the 2nd branch, we transferred people from the 1st branch for management. like there was chaos at first because there was no system but then we wrote standards trained staff, it settled in 6 months. but net profit dropped 30% at the start.
opening a second branch = has risk. if you don't have a management system and staff, you'll lose at the start but don't rush, test it.
edit: I wrote something wrong above, sorry about that.

Absolutely. If I were to add anything: Calculate how many months you can survive without revenue then halve that number.
Finding a new customer is more expensive than keeping an existing one.

Thanks that was the answer I was looking for. honestly calculate this based on total annual cost not the monthly bill.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Great work. Finding a new customer is more expensive than keeping an existing one.
Hope this helps.
Looking at it as a process, the picture changes. Look where the bucket leaks; pouring water on top doesn't solve it.
The biggest time-waster for us was not knowing who had the final say. That's all, sorry if I went on too long.

The cheap-looking path usually ends up costing more later. A small market isn't bad; working cheaply in a small market is.

I've been dealing with this for a long time. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.
If I were you, I'd go this route.
My perspective changed after experiencing that. Everyone rushing into opening a second branch gets stuck at the same point.
Just leaving this note, it might be useful.

Let me speak from the other side; I'm on the supplier side. Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later.
People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there. That's all, sorry if I went on too long.

There are three things to check when doing this. When making a decision, first look at what data you have on hand.
Proven by experience.
I don't think this advice fits everyone. Everything goes well for the first three months; problems arise in the fourth.
Most time waste accumulates in tasks waiting for approval. Of course, it varies if your situation is different.
My perspective changed after experiencing that. The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.
Splitting your budget without knowing where you're losing users is just throwing money in the dark. Hope this helps.

thanks this was very helpful... taking notes for two weeks yields better results than a six-month estimate.
