we took delivery of the site 3 months passed then fund a bug. agency: 'warranty period is 1 month, bug repair is now billable.'
but I'm sure the bug is their fault and what does warranty mean? only during the delivery month?

Warranty = specific period after delivery (1-6 months). During this period, the agency fixes bugs. It must be written in the contract. If not written, all warranties are void due to 'application error'.
I got it like this too, then asked if there was a written warranty they provided it. But if it wasnt written you cant defend yourself.
Edit: asked below, I wrote the answer in the second message.
Check the quote/contract. If not written, send a written request to the agency: 'how many months is the warranty?' If no answer, a 30-day warranty is assumed (minimum).
Warranty is a legal matter. Turkish law stipulates a minimum 1-year warranty. Even if the agency says 1 month, it might not be legally valid.
Don't miss this: Processes without records never improve, because you don't know what to fix.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm in the same situation, that's why I'm asking. Processes without records never improve, because you don't know what to fix.
Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later. If you post the result here, it will help others too.
I agree with this. The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.
Access credentials should be opened in the company's name, not personal accounts. Proven by experience.
im a small business let me explain from my side then everyone rushing into warranty period gets stuck at the same point.
corrrect me if Im wrong.
noted, thanks but just because everyone does it doesnt mean its right.
if you get three different answers on a topic, the question was asked wrong but anyway proven by experience.
I completely agree. The biggest time-waster for us was not knowing who had the final say.
If you have questions, write them; I'll answer as best I can.
You're right. Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later.

I didn't know that. When making decisions, write down the worst-case scenario too, not just the best.
This approach has a cost, which isn't discussed. The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.
That's all, sorry if I went on too long.

There's one point I'm curious about. Access credentials should be opened in the company's name not personal accounts.

Let me write how it's done in practice. The answer varies greatly by industry; there is no one-size-fits-all rule.
