I set up an appointment system for my physiotherapy practice, but clients preferred calling me, saying 'sir, please call us', I took on 40 new patients this summer

i'm a physiotherapist in ankara, i have a home-based center. 5 years ago clients booked appointments by phone, i kept a memo calendar. 3 years ago i set up an online appointment app, the first 3 months were a nightmare, nobody used it.

Then a week later i said 'the app setup is bad, we're going back'. Later my clients said 'bro put the phone number at the bottom, let us book by phone'. Ok i put the phone number. But i noticed app usage started increasing. 3 months later, clients started using the app themselves because it was 'faster via the app'.

This month i took on 7-8 new patients, they all found me by searching 'physiotherapy + appointment' on a search engine, booked via the app and came in. If i went back to the old system, no client would find me online. But my clients still ask 'can i book by phone too'. I prefer the app because i can type faster, but i don't force it on any client.

Per regulations: your business needs these and those permits. Ask your accountant.

Professional advice: Do process planning. Define the duration of each stage, tell the customer. Good luck.

I can't fully agree with this. If the gap between accounts receivable and accounts payable turnover days is widening, revenue won't save you.

Good luck with that.

You're right. When you try to change everything at once, nothing settles.

That's all sorry if I went on too long.

I was thinking the same thing. Everything goes well for the first three months; problems arise in the fourth.

If I were you, I'd go this route.

I agree with this. The reason for failure isn't one big mistake, but the accumulation of small decisions.

Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once. This is my opinion, I'm not claiming it's absolute truth.

Great work. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

The biggest time-waster for us was not knowing who had the final say. If I were you, I'd go this route.

I've been down this road, let me tell you. Second-time founders don't make the same mistakes but find new ones.

Cutting your own salary is a temporary tactic; if it lasts more than six months, something will break. Correct me if I'm wrong.
