We can filter by categories (brand, price, color) and these create separate URLs, should all combinations be indexed?

we had 5000+ urls too... crawl efficiency dropped. then we noindexed most of them done

To do: 1. Identify the most frequent combinations 2. Index those 3. Set rel=noindex for the rest 4. Set a canonical URL 5. Configure in Search Console

Define which ones get indexed and which don't in Google Search Console > URL Parameters.
