data analysis: as demand increases, capacity usually drops by 30-50%. that's your situation. need to increase capacity.

Management-wise: Measure capacity, measure demand, if there's a gap find a partner or hire staff.

Urgent: stop the work, replan, start over. Run a 3-week pilot, then decide.

The answer to this question is simple: the door. Don't bother, just quit.

The opposite happened to me, that's why I'm writing. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

Valuation methods for exits must be defined by formula; "market value" isn't enough. Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

I was thinking the same thing. Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's right.

If you don't write this down from the start, it leads to arguments later. tbh if you have questions, write them; I'll answer as best I can.

There's a common mistake people make when doing this. The harder it is to reverse a decision, the slower you should make it.

Good luck with that.

Just a heads-up. Partnership isn't a decision to make without working together first.

Don't hesitate to ask; those who don't ask always pay more. Hope this helps.

Yes, that's exactly how it is with retired grocery partnership. Processes without records never improve, because you don't know what to fix.

Proven by experience.

I'd say don't rush. The answer varies greatly by industry; there is no one-size-fits-all rule.

I'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

Let me share what happened to me; it might be useful. Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later.

Just leaving this note, it might be useful.

I have no experience with retired grocery partnership, so I'm asking. The biggest time-waster for us was not knowing who had the final say.

This is my opinion I'm not claiming it's absolute truth.

Don't miss this: Solutions that work at a small scale collapse when you grow; I learned this late.

I'm also curious if anyone does it differently.

The opposite happened to me, that's why I'm writing... If IP assignment to the company isn't written from the start, it can't be collected later.

There's one point I'm curious about. If IP assignment to the company isn't written from the start it can't be collected later.

Three different views emerged, they all complement each other. If decision-making authority isn't defined, it causes daily issues not just during exits.

Just leaving this note, it might be useful.
