it's the second year of my programming course, but finding students is still hard. i post on instagram but i'm not very visible in google searches. i see competitor courses and i'm really curious about what strategy they might be using.

the site has course promotions but we haven't written any blog posts or anything. there are also few customer reviews.

although i'm confident in the quality of education in the sector we need people to find us because money is being wasted.

customer reviews are a very strong signal for education courses. create a google map profile and invite students to leave reviews.

write blog posts: like 'what is python', 'how long does web development take', 'what age to learn coding'. use keywords but pay attention to writing naturally.

Create a references page — include photos, names, and what your graduates are doing now. Google loves this stuff.

Start now: 1. Set up a Google Maps profile 2. Have a separate page for each course 3. Write a weekly blog post (make it a Monday routine) 4. Shoot student testimonial videos 5. Share graduate success stories

blog posts help because google likes them and a big chunk of search traffic comes from there. but writing them is tough

If you run a good course, spread the word. Referrals work but it's a long game. Running Instagram ads or Google Ads gets faster results.

Use schema markup (CourseDefinition) on your course pages. This way Google will correctly understand details like start date, price, and duration.

Getting students is really hard. But once you start blogging, organic traffic starts coming in after 4-5 months. It takes patience but it's worth it.

Thanks for writing this, that's the right way. Solutions that work at a small scale collapse when you grow; I learned this late.

Mistakes made on the sector seo education side are usually reversible but expensive. If you have questions, write them; I'll answer as best I can.

There's a trap here, let me mention it. Everyone rushing into sector seo education gets stuck at the same point.

I have an objection here. When making a decision, first look at what data you have on hand.

Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

We got stuck at the same point for a while. The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.

If you post the result here, it will help others too.

I've been down this road, let me tell you. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

Correct. Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.

I've been dealing with this for a long time. Speed is a threshold issue; if you're already fast, making it faster changes nothing.

Solutions that work at a small scale collapse when you grow; I learned this late... Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

This approach has a cost, which isn't discussed. Merge instead of deleting; deleted content doesn't come back.

The opposite happened to me, that's why I'm writing. When you try to change everything at once, nothing settles.

Hasty decisions become decisions you have to fix six months later. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct in theory, but it doesn't work that way in practice... If rankings stay the same but clicks drop the issue isn't your page but the search result appearance.

Good luck with that.
