Getting links from external sites (backlinks) is really hard — how do I find them, who did I ask, does anyone have to give them?

i also tried link selling. thought it would go well for 2 months but Google penalized me in the 3rd month. domain Authority dropped a lot. took 6 months to fix.

The most overlooked point about getting external links is this: Trying to do this alone is the most expensive way.
