im doing seo but im confused about which keyword to write for. which has higher search volume: 'sports shoes' vs 'leather sports shoes'? where can i check monthly search volume?

Are there any tools? Someone said 'Google Ads' provides it but I don't have an account.

Keyword search volume is the core data for SEO strategy. Tools like Google's Google Ads Keyword Planner (free, requires a Google Ads account), a paid SEO tool, a paid SEO tool, and a paid SEO tool show this.

Free: 1) Google Keyword Planner (need an account + start a campaign, then you can see 'search volume'). 2) a paid SEO tool — 3 queries/day free. 3) Google Trends — shows trends over time but no exact numbers. 4) answerthepublic.com — research based on questions.

i started with Keyword Planner and then switched to a paid SEO tool... the free version of a paid SEO tool is limited but enough to start. like then I bought the paid version for $12.

Google Keyword Planner is actually sufficient. anyway compare it with a paid SEO tool. Exact volume is visible with a Google Ads account.

Keyword Volume Tools: 1. Google Keyword Planner (Free, requires Google Ads) 2. a paid SEO tool (Free 3/day, paid: $12/month) 3. a paid SEO tool (Paid: $99+) 4. a paid SEO tool (Paid: $120+) 5. Google Trends (Free, no exact volume) 6. AnswerThePublic (Free, question-based)

first step: 1) open a google ads account (free). 2) go to keyword planner. 3) enter keywords (sports shoes, leather sports shoes). 4) check the volume table. 5) pick a target keyword (recommend 10k+ volume). 6) write a blog post. 7) track rankings.

I've been down this road, let me tell you. The real issue isn't the number, but what it's based on.

If I were you, I'd go this route.

Thanks for writing this, that's the right way. Map listings bring more business than blog posts for most local businesses.

We experienced almost the exact same thing last year. Start with a small trial; don't commit to everything at once.

A competitor's ranking might come from years of accumulation not just their content. Hope this helps.

Let me speak from the other side; Im on the supplier side. If you get three different answers on a topic, the question was asked wrong.

I feel the same way. The harder it is to reverse a decision, the slower you should make it.

A page with low traffic might be reaching the right people. Look at where sales come from. If you post the result here, it will help others too.

We experienced almost the exact same thing last year. Internal linking is the cheapest and most neglected task.

My perspective changed after experiencing that. Speed is a threshold issue; if you're already fast, making it faster changes nothing.

Everything goes well for the first three months; problems arise in the fourth. Correct me if I'm wrong.

There's a common mistake people make when doing this. People defend habits, not processes. Resistance comes from there.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

My question might sound amateurish, sorry about that. Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's right.

Of course, it varies if your situation is different.

Let's separate the concepts, they're getting mixed up. When you try to change everything at once, nothing settles.
